Hire
Advantage begins a search for a client by first utilizing our database
of previous applicants. Many times we have just the qualified candidate
you’ve been looking for on hand. The next step is to advertise
using local and regional print and/or national internet resources.
Other experienced candidates are recruited directly from other sources.
(Remember - the best employees may not be actively looking for a
new position!) Applicants are phone-screened, and then qualified
local and regional candidates are invited for a personal interview
and skills testing in our office. National candidates go through
a more extensive telephone interviewing process, including technical
testing when appropriate.
Only the premier candidates are then presented to you for review.
At that time, Hire Advantage coordinates the interview process
with the hiring manager, including arranging the candidate’s
travel if necessary. After your choice is made, Hire Advantage
facilitates the employment offer and acceptance procedure. Our
goal is to provide you with the skilled and experienced employees
you need while letting you concentrate on more important aspects
of your business.
Our Policies

Hire Advantage’s policy is to recruit, hire and promote for
all job applicants without regard to race, religion, color, national
origin, sex, disability, veteran status, or age. Decisions on employment
are based solely upon an individual’s qualifications, with
reference to the skills and abilities of the position for which
the individual is being considered.
Hire Advantage is committed to finding a work environment that
is free of discrimination. In keeping with this commitment Hire
Advantage maintains a strict policy of prohibiting unlawful harassment,
including sexual harassment. This policy prohibits harassment
of any form, including verbal, physical, and visual.
Periodic X-ray or laboratory tests may be required as a condition
of employment in some work divisions as prescribed by state law. You
will be informed by your supervisor of the required test(s). An employee
who exhibits inappropriate behavior, which is suggestive of an abusive
drug problem affecting job performance, will be subject to a test
for illegal drugs or substances of abuse. A drug screen test will
be performed if you have an on-the-job injury or illness. In a safety
sensitive area, you may be required to undergo substance abuse or
drug testing. If you refuse to submit to such testing you may be immediately
disciplined, up to and including termination. A positive drug screen
test may also result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
All practices in this area will be reviewed regularly to ensure compliance
with the American Disabilities Act.
Information given by an applicant or client may be privileged or confidential
information. Such information will be maintained with strict confidentially.
